Beginner Letterpress

6-Week Course | Tuesdays at 7 PM

Join Madison of Beau Paper Co. for a hands-on introduction to the art of letterpress printing! Over the course of six weeks, you’ll learn the fundamentals of this traditional printing technique, from setting type, to using the press.

By the end of the course, you’ll have your own custom set of cards or a one-of-a-kind mini print to show off or give as a gift. You’ll get to design and print your piece from start to finish with expert guidance along the way.

In this course, you'll:

• Explore the basics of letterpress printing, including type-setting, paper selection, and ink mixing

• Learn how to compose and print your own designs with professional guidance

• Use a vintage press and tools in a creative, supportive environment

• Get the chance to make  personalized cards or prints just in time for Valentine’s Day!

No prior experience necessary—just bring your creativity and be ready to play! Perfect for beginners, this class is a great way to explore printmaking in a fun, accessible way.

Classes meet on Tuesdays at 7 PM for 6 weeks. Class dates are:
